Amerant Bank Executive, Carlos Xavier Ramos, Joins RMHC South Florida’s Board of Directors

Ramos Joins the Nonprofit Dedicated to Supporting Families with Critically Ill Children

today announced the appointment of as a new member of its Board of Directors. Ramos, who serves as Senior Vice President and Corporate Regional Manager at Amerant Bank, brings over 18 years of experience in commercial banking and a deep commitment to community service.

In his role at Amerant Bank, Ramos leads a dedicated team focused on delivering comprehensive banking solutions to businesses throughout South Florida. His extensive background equips him with valuable insights that will greatly benefit RMHC South Florida as it supports families in need.

Ramos joins the board at a pivotal time for RMHC South Florida, as the nonprofit is actively raising funds for a new $33 Million facility that will significantly increase its capacity to support more families. Hope Has A New Home is the combined campaign that will expand the Ronald McDonald House from 31 to 54 rooms, enabling RMHC South Florida to serve over 420 families annually.

A native of Miami, Ramos is deeply rooted in the local community. He attended Miami-Dade public schools and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida in 2005. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ramos has been actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America, serving as both Assistant Cubmaster and Cubmaster for Pack 575, and regularly volunteering at local events.
