Get ready for an inspiring evening as the Baltimore Museum of Industry presents Labor + Innovation, a special event on Thursday, April 24th, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This quarterly series, sponsored by Whiting Turner, highlights transformative conversations at the intersection of work and art, and this edition will focus on the remarkable contributions of women in the culinary world.
In collaboration with Taste & Turntables curated by Cheyanne Zadia and powered by WVRDROBE, attendees will journey through delectable food and engaging soundscapes, celebrating the women chefs, restaurateurs, and culinary artists making their mark across Baltimore. Taste & Turntables is a culinary art and music experience crafted to cultivate communion. The event blends the artistry of food, music, and storytelling to celebrate diverse cultures. Nationally recognized storyteller and radio personality Aaron Henkin will lead the discussions, providing insights into experiences and innovations within the industry.
Guests can sample various bite-size dishes curated from Baltimore’s beloved women-owned bars and restaurants, perfectly paired with specially selected music designed to enhance the culinary experience. This event promises to be a feast for the senses and a deep dive into the stories and journeys of these inspiring women from the Baltimore culinary scene.
